I live with my wife, Franziska, and two boys, Benjamin and Emmett, in Steamboat Springs Colorado. In life, I prioritize happiness, adventure, creativity, relationship, and purpose above all else.
    Life is a journey in which we are gifted with the opportunity of celebrating a diversity of experiences while ever increasing consciousness, mindfulness, acceptance, congruence, love and gratitude.
    In my relationship with Franziska I have found bliss, strength, support, and an infinite love.
    In being a father I have learned selflessness, unconditional love, purpose, and dedication.
    In my music I have found a perfect place to express the essence of my creative energy and emotionality; in playing with others I have experienced the peek experience of interconnectedness.
  In nature I find my peace, balance, and sense of spirituality.
    As a therapist, mentor and teacher I have found my usefulness and perfect outlet for my experiential, compassionate, mindful and philosophical spirit.

Family

My Wife and I met while at the Steamboat Mountain school over 20 years ago and have spent our time together playing in the rocky mountains. We have two adventurous little boys that we are thrilled to raise within the wonderful community of Steamboat Springs. I'm a family guy to the core - I love getting to share in all the life giving activities that the wilderness offers with my tribe or 4.

​My greatest strength and pride is my relationship with my wife Franziska. We have manifested an exceptionally fulfilling, supportive, and meaningful life together; we accomplish this by continually growing in our friendship and by prioritizing our bond above all else. ​

Artist

My parents bought me my 1st guitar when I was twelve years old. I started writing free-form poetry around the same time, and over the years the crafts melded into songwriting.

I play folk, bluegrass, and reggae inspired rocky mountain rockin' roll. Music is my most effective medium for emotional/spiritual expression, bonding with my mates, and contemplation of existence.

My therapy is significantly influenced by my artistic self... metaphor, curiosity, intuition and a love of language are ever evident in my counseling practice.

Therapist

In Life, my purpose is to be a philosopher - a creative - and a helper... I found my perfect outlet in offering therapy. 

My style is playful and intelligent, supportive and challenging. As a lover of philosophy and theory, my interventions draw from a wide array of theoretical positions - From cognitive, to attachment, to experiential, to existential, to humanistic, to mindfullness... and all the way to integrating a great number of spiritual perspectives.

My greatest strengths are my ability to: help people live a life which feels congruent with their true self, to create bonding experiences to promote deeply connected relationships, and to expand consciousness and emotional intelligence so that people can more clearly see the path to happiness and the brilliance of life
